In 2015 ESA Group, the main services and crewing agency for Italian maritime sector from 1947, realized the potential and the centrality of Malta in the modern shipping industry and established on the island its branch office.
Today from our office located in Marsa, near Valletta Waterfront cruise terminal, we offer a One Stop Shop service on crewing and technical management to merchant vessels and yachts, with more than 15 experienced managers and operators specialized on the different lines of business.

Operations and purchasing departments assist our clients for bunkering, P&I inspections, arrival formalities, food catering and spares/stores handling in Med, Black Sea, North Europe and Baltic areas.
The team specialized on yacht management supports, with a tailored service, pleasure and commercial ships for 24/7 emergency call, day to day assistance to Masters, technical issues, local procurements and winter yachts maintenance/retrofitting as well as new building projects.
Crewing department, with 70 years of experience in this industry, select and provide qualified seafarers for merchant vessels and identify professional crew members to serve on pleasure and commercial yachts, as well as personnel employed on hospitality services on cruise ships. A large network of recruiter operators allow us to employ seafarers from EU, UK, Albania, Ukraine, India, Philippines and Indonesia.
Our innovative Carrier Development Strategy permits our staff to assess technical and personal competences of each crew member, develop a customized training system and monitoring continuously her/his improvements. Periodical reports will be provided to the various stakeholders to keep record of knowledge enrichment of a single person, ashore teams, ship’s crew or seafarers of an entire fleet.
