Valletta Cruise Port, the gateway to Malta’s capital city Valletta, handles over 600,000 passenger movements.
The award-winning Valletta Cruise Port is situated in a natural deep-water harbour, a safe haven for ships and offering a variety of 24/7 support services. Valletta’s quays are ISPS-compliant and can handle the largest ships. There are three passenger facilities with the main terminal located in the historic Magazino Hall. It is fully modernised and equipped with state of the art technology. Fibre optic and WiFi links from the Magazino Hall to the ship allow for simultaneous onboard registration and check-in.
Whilst in port, passengers can step off the ship immediately onto the Valletta Waterfront. The Valletta Waterfront is a key element of Valletta Cruise Port with various shops, cafes, restaurants, offices and other amenities in beautifully restored 18th century warehouses stretching along the water’s edge. UNESCO Heritage City Valletta with numerous cultural and artistic treasures, is within a short distance from the port. Furthermore, Valletta Cruise Port is just ten minutes away from the Malta International Airport, ideal for turnaround operations.
