Pro Crew is a suite of courses being developed under the Large Yacht Code framework to provide STCW course requirements for the Superyacht industry.
An array of yachting related courses will be delivered on a bespoke platform developed by MCAST and City of Glasgow College to take advantage of a blended learning environment and deliver high-quality courses across all platforms and devices (pc, tablet, smartphone).
During this year various meetings have been held with all stakeholders, resulting in a list of courses agreed to and followed by MCAST selecting and employing the appropriate instructors that will deliver these courses, prior to which, a ‘Train the Trainer’ program will be held by MCAST to fully equip the instructors with the necessary skills to deliver the expected standard.
